lately I have been slightly obssessed with vampire romances-I read Christine Feehan's Dark Series along with her other series that are not vampire in nature but still excellent and fun to read; Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series and her Merry Gentry Fae series; Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series-those are the main authours lately I read.....although I read almost any paranormal romance I can find...and I suppose the fact that I read all these "non-traditional" vampire books is why I seem to be unable to RP a good vampire because all the ones I read about have emotions, have souls, truly love people....and are not cold hearted power hungry creatures...*shrugs* even with my vampires I still hope for eternal love and happily ever after...at least they find it to some extent in the books I read-I highly doubt I will ever find it in my own life...

Pixie, what kind of talk is that? I highly doubt that I will find it in my own life??? Just because you haven't found it yet, doesn't mean it's not out there, and won't knock you off your feet when it does....k?? ~huggles~

it is a realistic view of things-when at 41 most of my social life consists of what sports my nephews are playing it does not look like I will be having any happily ever after Gibby.....perhaps if I stop trying to believe in fairytales and grow up as my mother tells me to-I will learn to live with my pain and accept being alone-the spinster Aunt-the old maid in the family

Well, then that would mean I would have to also to grow up. I mean I think alot of the same things you do. I want a happy ending and love in my life. I can't give up on it. I don't care if I'm 102, I won't. Don't give up hun. Love is a wonderful thing and it will find you, when you least expect it to. *snugs* If giving up that dream is growing up, then I will never grow up.

I completely agree with Serena. Pix, growing up doesn't mean giving up on the happily ever after. Every girl dreams of the happily ever after, regardless of how old you are, and should be able to have that. Hmmm, we'll just have to brain storm some ideas to help you get that happily ever after ending.

*nods* Yes, a brain storm is in order. I wish I lived over there. If I did, I'd high tail it over to your house Pix hun and help ya out. *smiles, then goes to brainstorming*
