It's staring Al Pacino (yeah you'll see him alot) and Gene Hackman. @ 1973.
Directed by Jerry Schatzberg
A comedy/drama something old school and underground. For not being a very flashy film it captivates.
Wewt for Technicolor
Scarecrow --------------- Their drifters you see. Oh yes and you have lots of fun watching these drifters. Just out of Jail from serving time for assault we have Max (Gene), he's headed for Pittsburgh to open his dream. A deluxe Car Wash. On the way he meets up with Lion/Francis (Pacino) back from five years at sea. He need to hit Detriot and visit the child he's never seen. So their dreams aren't very glorious but you'll want Max and Lion to fullfill them. The trip is unforgettable.
This movie is great for a good laugh and a good "Awwww" at the end. I love this film, they just recently put it on DVD. Dammit I'm more than happy to spend the 15 bucks on it. Not only to expand my collection but because it's a true classic. Screen caps can be seen on my Flckr account. The film does mean alot to me, personally. My name comes from the film, the hole scarecrow deal just fits me.
