[glow=red,2,300]I've been a big fan of writing poetry for afew years now, so it's difficult to select a few to post here. I've had afew poems published and two picked up by hallmark, so Im very lucky that rhyming comes easy to me. Instead of spamming the board with all the poems I like, so long as no one minds, I'm going to provide a link. I used to host my poems on a site called The Starlite Cafe, but unfortunately no one could view them whom was NOT a member. So as of today, I've transfered them all to a board. There's many, I'm warning you now, so I don't expect anyone to read ALL of them. But feel free to browse them. Comment if you wish. I'm sure you'll find dozens of them that you can relate to. Enjoy.[/glow] pandiecandii.proboards25.com/index.cgi

I was drifting away a moment ago Feeling lost and going insane And just when I was about to let go Out of the dark, you spoke my name.
It must have been dark for you didnt see I was barely hanging on You couldn't hear the strain in my voice As I struggled to stay strong.
We carried on like we always did And you couldn't even tell I was hanging from the edge of the clift One slip, and I'd fall to hell.
And when you said you were leaving I should have wished you to stay But I knew I couldn't hold much longer So I nodded and muttered 'okay'.
I waited, dangling above my doom For you to disappear It must have been long enough Since when I screamed you didn't hear.
My finger's slipped alittle more As I shivered and started to cry The whole way down I kept thinking At least I got to say goodbye...
